The Daoist Foundation is a Daoist intentional community and contemplative collective rooted in shared affinities, commitments, and aspirations. The Foundation arose out of our interest and concern for preserving authentic Daoist practices, source-texts, and cultural materials. As Daoism shifts its borders from a regional indigenious Chinese religion to a world-wide contemplative movement and religious path, the importance of providing authentic resources and lineage-based practices grows increasingly important.
